Add in the crystal that reduces their manpower requirements, and they are easily the most economical beasts on top of being fast. I tried mounting up with Yrgs once, mainly just to see if it was worth it - and IMO it was not worth it.Ī good set of wheels, scout, beast-master, and your travel speed is pretty damn good. That said it will take some time to get back up to full combat capability, and there are other benefits to mounting up with Yrgs besides the speed. The beasts have so much marching capability that just slapping on some wheels and using 100% march will equal the speed of a fully mounted Yrg caravan.
